Kia ora hello to you all. To date there has been only one person register. Perhaps you know someone who has yet to register. They may need to join Facebook to do this so I expect everyone to help each other. We are trying to re-group into iwi based organisations as in the iwi is Ngati Rahiri Tumutumu with a marae and kokiri base. The marae is a place for the people to stand and the kokiri is for the present and future developments of the iwi. Confused? Then please come home to the meetings as listed in the calendar and contribute to the discussions to clear your issues. No other people have the answers you seek. We have been making investigations on using our land for our benefit. This really means that we can profit from our own efforts. The farmer pays us a rental of $300 per acre and runs about 600 cows which will give him a profit this year of about a Million dollars on a n $8 payout. We get $3000 plus rates. Isnt that a big difference??? Time to change. All those of us looking for some work hoki mai ki te kainga tuturu- he mahi nui kei konei. Haere mai.
Mapuna
