This website has been created to inform: Beneficiaries of Tumutumu Marae better known as Tui Pa Marae Te Aroha  and Beneficiaries of Ngati Rahiri Tumutumu iwi of the Hauraki Maori Trust Board Act 1988 from the base Native Land Court Judgement 1878 where the lands of Omahu of the Aroha Block located in the Auckland District, was awarded to Ngati Rahiri the collective name agreed to at the court hearing by the combined  Chiefs of Ngati Ahumua. Ngati Atua, Ngati Aute. Ngati Haumia, Ngati Hue, Ngati Kopirimau,  Ngati Koropango , Ngati Ruinga, Ngati Tangata, Ngati Tu,  Ngati Tuarua,  Ngati Wharo, Ngati Ue.  as recorded in H10 Minute Book Page 370.

Tui Pa Marae is located at 59 Tui Pa Road Te Aroha 3320.  It can be located by Google maps in the  Matamata Piako District Council Te Aroha ward area.

The Long Term Vision is to ensure Maori values take precedence over Pakehatanga and and that the Responsible Marae Trustees and Iwi Representatives  enables  whanau and mokopuna  to access and live eat sleep te reo me ona tikanga via the marae or iwi events planned or indirectly forthe Maori  indigenous culture to exist forever in a non Maori world
